Our objective is to give a professional and high quality service to our customers. We sell products in stock and we also place special orders for products not kept in stock but ordered direclty from the manufacturer. Order Cancellations

All orders are final unless otherwise approved by customer service. If you need to cancel or modify your order, you must submit your request within 3 days of the date of order. Requests can be made through info@GALERIEDANOISE.COM or by calling 514-334-2030. Cancelling an order may result in losing your deposit or paying restocking fees.


Returns & Exchanges

All sales are final unless otherwise approved by customer service. If you would like to request a return or exchange, you must submit your request within 3 days of receiving your merchandise.

Only if, after submitting a claim to customer service, our team decides that the item shipped to you is defective or was damaged before or during transport or assembly, GALERIE DANOISE will gladly exchange the product at no cost to you.

Shipping services

We deliver to Canada and the U.S. by special request.

Standard shipping: GALERIE DANOISE uses Canada Post, Fedex or UPS for all shipments in North America weighing less than 70 lbs. Delivery times within Canada range between 2 and 9 business days. Shipments to the United States arrive in approximately 6 to 13 business days. Please allow more time for shipments to rural or remote destinations. Delivery dates are good faith estimates only.

3rd Party Freight and White Glove service: For larger or heavier items that require special handling, GALERIE DANOISE must ship using a white glove or 3rd party freight carrier. In this case, the freight carrier will contact you prior to delivery to schedule an appointment 2-7 business days after we send you a shipping notice. This delivery service inlcudes the unpackaging of furniture in the room of your choice and basic assembly.

Special requests for alternative delivery methods are accepted and must be specified at the time your order is placed. In this case, additional charges for shipping will apply. GALERIE DANOISE will confirm additional rates with the customer before orders are shipped.

 

Shipping times

In-stock orders normally ship within 5 business days of placing your order. We will send you the shipping notice once the item has been shipped. Your credit card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship.

Out-of-stock orders (backorders) will ship once the item is back in stock. The estimated time of delivery of out-of-stock items can vary between 6-14 weeks. Your credit card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship.

Special orders will usually ship within 6-14 weeks. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required upon your confirmation of the order. The remaining balance will be charged to your credit card once the item is ready to ship.

We reserve the right to limit quantities available for sale or sold and the right, at any time, to reject, correct, cancel or terminate any order for any reason whatsoever. If the price of any product you order was incorrectly displayed on our Web Site, we will provide you with an opportunity to place an order at the correct price.

 

Transport liability and conditions

GALERIE DANOISE is responsible if the shipment is damaged or lost during transportation to the customer. If the shipment is damaged or lost when returning it on your request, you are responsible for loss or damage. We suggest that returning products be shipped in the original container/box or similar if possible. We also recommend that the shipment is insured.

You are responsible for ensuring the product is received in good condition. If you, when receiving a shipment, notice that the packaging is visibly damaged, we urge you to inspect your merchandise before signing receipt, take pictures and immediately report to us and the transportation company. If your merchandise is unpacked and /or assembled in your home with white glove delivery, perform a thorough inspection of the assembly work and all parts to ensure no damage is visible before signing the POD (Proof of Delivery). Note any damage in the comments section of the POD, take pictures and notify the transport company and GALERIE DANOISE immediately. We do not accept claims for damage during assembly if the POD has been signed without noting the damages.

You are responsible for ensuring that the merchandise we ship to you can fit through all necessary doorways and passages on your property. In order to prevent this, we kindly ask that you notify us in advance if any of the following apply to the delivery address or room in which the furniture will be carried to:

a)      There is more than one flight of stairs

b)      Doorways of less than 30”

c)      Stairwells with tight corners or right angle

Failure to notify us of such circumstances may result in additional charges for extra handling, additional shipping charges and/or restocking fees for returns.


Payment

The total price of your order will be charged to your credit card when our shipping notice email has been sent to your email address only. GALERIEDANOISE.COM uses several payment options. We accept PayPal, MasterCard and VISA.

Special orders require a 25% non-refundable deposit upon your confirmation of delivery time and cost. This deposit will be lost to you if the order is cancelled before it is shipped. The remaining balance will be charged to your credit card once our shipping notice email has been sent to your email address and the item has been shipped.


Refusal of transaction

To be eligible to purchase products from us on this website and form a contract you must:

  • Be at least eighteen years of age
  • Register using your real name, phone number, E-mail address and payment details
  • Provide a shipping address that is not a PO box
  • Use a valid credit/debit card that is acceptable to our bank partner

 
We cannot accept your order if any of the following occurs:

  • We cannot charge your credit card for some reason.
  • If we are unable to deliver for reasons out of our control or that we do not have the product(s) in stock.
  • We cannot validate your identity, address or payment information.


Residents of Canada

Residents of Canada are required to pay the goods and services tax, as well as applicable provincial sales tax. The tax rate will be determined based on the shipping address.


Residents outside of Canada

If you are not a Canadian resident, no taxes will be charged by us. Additional duty and customs fees may apply. Please contact your country’s customs office for more information.


Complaints

Please contact our customer service immediately at info@GALERIEDANOISE.COM if you have any problems such as damages or, in any way, incorrect orders.


Laws

The conditions in this contract shall be governed by and construed with the laws of Canada and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.
